In collaboration with a well established firm, we provided consulting services regarding the structural design of a steel building power plant. To optimize the building process, the entire plant is divided in 12 modules of two different types that will be constructed in a prefabrication yard, and sea transported to an island. Due to the unique construction process that is followed, the design of the structure includes various conditions corresponding to different stages of the process.
